A Room Full of People Who Showed Up
On the evening of May 30, 2026, Seattle Rugby Club filled the Washington Athletic Club with players, coaches, families, alumni, partners and supporters — spanning three generations and three distinct rugby organizations. Together they marked a milestone few clubs in American sport ever reach: Sixty years of rugby in Seattle. By the end of the night, they had raised $150,000 to make sure the next sixty are even stronger.
The evening launched the Heritage Club, honored the newest Challenge Coin recipients, and welcomed USA EagleOli Kilifi to the stage for a keynote on how rugby changed his life. A live auction and paddle raise carried the room to its goal.
