We're going to Nationals. Help us finish the journey.

This spring, Seattle Rugby Club accomplished something we've been working toward for years: a regional championship win in Las Vegas that earned us a berth in the USA Club Rugby Division I National Championship in Lemont, Illinois. For many players on this roster, it's the highest level of competition they've ever reached — and an opportunity that represents years of dedication, sacrifice, and showing up for each other.

Now we need your help to make sure we can actually get there. Donate to the Go Fund Me Campaign.
The challenge of getting a team to Nationals
Like most club-level rugby teams, Seattle Rugby Club is largely self-funded. There are no stadium revenues, no broadcast deals, no institutional budgets to draw from. Historically, players have covered significant portions of their own travel costs — including, in some cases, getting themselves home after the tournament ends.
Our fundraising goal of $6,500 covers the most essential costs. Every dollar beyond that goal goes directly toward reducing out-of-pocket burdens on players and, ideally, subsidizing return flights home — something that, right now, players are expected to cover on their own.

More than a rugby club
Seattle Rugby Club has been part of this city for 60 years. Over six decades, it's been a place where people — often people who needed it most — found structure, accountability, and a brotherhood (and sisterhood) that lasted long past their playing days. We often describe it as a big kids' version of a Boys and Girls Club: a community that helps people push themselves and show up for something bigger than themselves.
This year's Nationals run is especially meaningful. Just weeks after the championship, we'll gather as a club for a formal 60th anniversary celebration — a chance to reflect on our legacy and, if things go our way, to celebrate something truly historic.
Where things stand right now
Thanks to 17 generous donors, we've raised $2,605 — 41% of our $6,500 goal. We're making real progress, but we still need the community behind us to close the gap before we board those flights.
