Club President Kevin Flynn is thrilled to join the board of directors of the Seattle Sports Commission.
Flynn said, “The Seattle Saracens share many of the same community based objectives with the SSC. We are looking forward to being able to contribute to helping Seattle become also known for rugby whilst forging new community links.
The Seattle Saracens are committed to its current community programs which include; support of youth sports, special needs, wheelchair rugby and our military veterans program.
Professional rugby is coming to Seattle and in these exciting times we want to provide not only clear avenues to elite rugby but also show that rugby can be enjoyed by all and we are excited to grow our community programs as well as the visibility of rugby and its culture in the pacific Northwest along with our partners at the SSC”.
