Seattle Rugby Club Hosts Inaugural XVSERIES Games at Starfire Stadium

Seattle, Washington (September 2, 2021) - Seattle Rugby Club is excited to host a triplet-header of 15s games September 18, 2021 at Starfire Stadium. Friends, family, and fans are encouraged to join the Club, the Valley Kangaroos, and the California Grizzlies for a full day of rugby:


• Local Derby between Seattle Rugby Club Men vs Valley Kangaroos at 1:00 PM to kick off the day.

• Inaugural Women's XVSERIES game between Seattle Rugby Club and regional select-side, California Grizzlies, at 3:00 PM.

• Inaugural Men's XVSERIES game between Seattle Rugby Club and regional select-side, California Grizzlies, at 5:00 PM.


Admission to this event is free but there’s a $10 suggested donation to Seattle Rugby Club — which is a 501c3. Stay up to date with the game day official Facebook event.

XVSERIES™ is a USA based non-profit program whose goal is to develop and support amateur American rugby athletes, referees and support staff whilst providing a recognizable pathway of development, enabling progression to professional, elite league or national representation. XVSERIES fosters and promotes links with USA rugby organizations and regional clubs, who have the collective goal of developing USA eligible players. XVSERIES is an integrated approach to amateur player development and pathway for youth programs, collegiate, clubs, regions and country. This will provide opportunities for a recognizable player and coach development pathway, whilst still managing to retain both club and regional and professional identity.
