Dave Ainuu Lands in France with Stade Toulousain.

Seattle Saracens' prop forward Dave Ainuu, has landed in France on a 6 month contract with Stade Toulousain, (Toulouse), one of the top clubs in France. Club Vice President, Fraser Brumell caught up with Dave before he went and asked him a few questions about his rugby background and contract in France. Here's what Dave had to say; "My first experience of rugby was being a water boy for my brothers team when he played for Budd Bay RFC. I didn’t start playing rugby until the next year when my brother and I transferred over and played for Prairie RFC in Yelm. During my second year I was selected to play for the Washington Loggers which led to playing for the HSAA u17 which traveled to France

Helping a Veteran Home for Christmas

Tim Brogdon, working with the Mission Continues at a recent Toys for Tots event. Seattle Saracens' Veterans Director, Tim Brogdon and Raymark Plumbing & Sewer worked together last week to help a Vietnam veteran who is in the oncology unit here in Seattle to be able to go back home to Georgia to see his family this Christmas. The veteran, who wishes to remain anonymous, has not met his grandchildren before and this may be the only time he gets to see them. Club sponsor, Raymark Plumbing & Sewer, donated funds for the flight and gifts for the family, whilst the Seattle Saracens worked with the veteran and volunteers at the VA to make this happen and also with Alaska Airlines to get his flight
