The Seattle Saracens Men's Premier XV will be travelling to Houston as the guests of the Houston Sabercats professional MLR team. The match will be the inaugural first game for the Sabercats and the Saracens first game of the 2018 Spring season. We would love for you to come and support your Sarries in their first match of 2018. The players will be arriving on Friday the 5th January and returning to Seattle on Sunday the 7th. Sarries Men's Premier Secure a Win on the Road against James Bay

Sarries Downs James Bay on Vancouver Island Saturday saw the best start in a game of this season for Seattle Saracens on the road to James Bay. Within 2 minutes of the start Seattle was awarded a penalty which was slotted by Shalom Suniula. After a good attacking sequence in the 18th minute, John Valz finished with a try which was then converted by Suniula. Shortly after Seattle had another great attack and Seattle center Sequoyah Burke Combs ran in unchallenged for an unconverted try. Seattle got themselves into penalty trouble and which let James Bay back in game with 2 quick penalties and yellow card to Suniula for not using his arms in the tackle. Rose Baker To Hang Up Boots After 14 Years with Seattle!

Rose Baker, long time member of the Seattle Rugby Club, will be playing her last game for the club this Saturday, November 18th in the last British Columbia Women’s Premiership match of the fall. Rose, originally from Wisconsin, got her degree in Exercise & Sport Science from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and also found the game of rugby. She made her way to Seattle, Washington and began working as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the University of Washington’s Women’s Soccer and Rowing programs. Her passion for sport didn’t stop with her career field as she continued her rugby career with a team just down Montlake, the Seattle Breakers. Baker quickly became a pivotal player

After high school Tim served in the U.S. Navy for six years as a Sonar Technician. Whilst Tim was stationed in Everett, Washington, for four of those years aboard the USS Ford he fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. On being discharged from active duty in 2012, Tim moved back home to Southern California where he started playing men’s premiership soccer and attending college. Seattle Saracen Tino Paophavihanh Selected for Lao National Team

Congratulations to Seattle Saracens forward Tino Paophavihanh, selected for the DAC Lao Men’s National Team at the 2017 Mekong Cup on Saturday, 4th November. Saturday at the Chaoanuvong Stadium will see the reincarnation of the Mekong Cup featuring the DAC Lao National Team taking on its neighbors and perennial rivals, Thailand in a full international rugby fixture. Coupled with the main game, the Lao Rugby Federation will also host U16 and U17 matches in its Champa Ban Championship, featuring teams from across Laos.
